ACTIVE PARENTING CURRICULUM

Give your children a great start by taking our Active Parenting classes—led by a certified parenting educator. Combining video, discussion, activities, and a Parent’s Guide, this curriculum will show you how to nurture your child with a  combination of freedom and nonviolent discipline.

Note to court-ordered parents and guardians or those requiring certification

Please check with the deciding authority concerning its requirements before registering for an Active Parenting Group. A certificate of completion is provided upon successful completion of the course.

Some families require more support than a parenting education class can provide. Active Parenting does not guarantee changes in children as a result of attending parenting classes. Active Parenting programs are educational rather than therapeutic. Throughout the program, parents are taught that change occurs when parents work to make the changes. If problems persist, please don’t give up; we are here to assist with therapeutic concerns.
